As part of the celebration of the Montlake Laboratory’s 75th anniversary, the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) is hosting the 1st Annual NWFSC Science Symposium.

The goals of the symposium are to foster communication and collaboration among scientists at the Montlake Laboratory and all NWFSC field stations as well as to showcase new and exciting areas of research.

The 2-day symposium will consist of short oral presentations and posters contributed by NWFSC staff scientists. Presentations will occur in a series of thematic sessions highlighting the past, present and future of fisheries research, including fisheries analysis, population and community ecology, emerging technologies, aquaculture, oceans and human health, and climate and ecosystems.
