Staff in the Salmon Recovery Team collect data, provide analyses, and conduct research in support of recovery planning for Pacific salmon listed under the Endangered Species Act. Major activities include: chairing and participating on the salmon Technical Recovery Team (see link under Related Sites), developing and implementing models to evaluate proposed recovery actions, and analyzing the effects of alternative land uses or habitat types on salmon abundance and productivity.
