Periodic fish surveys, habitat surveys, and fishery observations are conducted by teams within the Monitoring Program. This Program oversees the Observer, Survey, Acoustics, and Habitat/Conservation Engineering Teams, which are responsible for the collection of the necessary population data, biological information, bycatch and habitat data used in the assessment of the status and trends of the West Coast groundfish. |
