Background
Lisa Bonacci joined FRAM's Acoustic Team in 2006. Previously, she worked as a contractor with the acoustics group at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole, MA. Lisa received her Master's in Marine Biology from Boston University where she focused on the food habits of Pacific coast rockfish.

Current Research
As a member of the Acoustic Team, Lisa's research interests include applying new technologies for surveying fish populations that are difficult to access and investigating factors affecting Pacific hake distribution.
