Background
Doug Dey's background includes meeting Elvis and research in biological oceanography, environmental effects (pollutants and UV radiation), fish passage and survival, gas bubble disease, PIT-tag and radiotelemetry technology, and salmonid migrational behavior.

Current Research
The Migrational Behavior Program comprises research fishery biologists and electronics engineers and technicians. Program personnel conduct studies to evaluate the migrational behavior, passage and survival of juvenile and adult anadromous fish, develop electronic marking/tracking technology (e.g., radiotelemetry, PIT-tag systems), and provide technical support for FE research.
