Kings return to Elwha River

Earlier this week, Olympic National Park Service staff reported the first observations of Chinook salmon to naturally migrate into the park since the removal of the Elwha River dam. Now, NWFSC's John McMillan shares the first photo documentation of adult Chinook salmon above the former Elwha Dam site. This fish was found spawning in Indian Creek, a tributary to the Elwha River. more...
