Population Identification Report
As a step in the recovery planning process, members of the Willamette/Lower Columbia Technical Recovery Team (WLC-TRT) identified putative historical populations of salmon and steelhead in the WLC domain based on currently available data. This work resulted in the report titled "Historical Population Structure of Pacific Salmonids in the Willamette River and Lower Columbia River Basins" (Myers et al. 2006). Previous drafts of this report were titled "Identifying Historical Chum Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and Steelhead within the Lower Columbia River and Upper Willamette River Evolutionarily Significant Units" (Myers et al 2002).
