Northwest Fisheries Science Center

Pasco Research Station

The Pasco Research Station supports the NWFSC's research on anadromous fish migration, particularly monitoring and development of technologies to improve salmon survival during passage through the Columbia River hydropower system. The station is strategically located on the main stem of the Columbia River and serves Center’s research throughout the entire Columbia River Basin. Pasco Research Station is the only NOAA facility dedicated to the study of safe salmon passage through major hydroelectric dams.
