Background

Jeff Atkins has worked for the Behavioral Ecology Team at the Manchester Reaseach Lab working on BPA Hatchery Reform Project since 2000.  He graduated from Olympic College in 1998 AAS and Western Washington University in 2000 BS from the Huxley Environmental Studies program.

Current Research

Jeff is a fisheries biologist responsible for the rearing and husbandry of ESA list Steelhead and Salmon.  He also constructs experimental systems and runs experiments on ESA listed salmon.  Also, he is responsible for maintaning the freash water systems at Manchester and assists with the seawater infrastucture.
