Northwest Fisheries Science Center

NWFSC Science Symposium

The goals of the biennial NWFSC Science Symposium are to foster communication and collaboration among scientists at our Montlake Laboratory and all NWFSC field stations, as well as to showcase new and exciting areas of our fisheries science in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The 2-day symposium consists of oral presentations and posters that highlight research areas related to the four key themes: the ecosystem approach to the California Current; habitats to support fisheries and recovered populations; recovery, rebuilding, and sustainability of populations; and sustaining marine ecosystem and human health.
