Update on strandings of killer whales L95 and J32

October 2016

The final necropsy reports for L95 and J32, Southern Resident killer whales from L and Jpod, are now available. L95 was a 20 year old male tagged by NWFSC scientists in March and J32 was an 18 year old female found dead in December 2014.

NOAA Fisheries convened an independent panel of scientists to review the findings of the L95 necropsy and this report is also available. Follow the links for more information.
