|Title:||Data and estimating missing data for the Puget Sound Chinook salmon ESU 5-year status review|
|Author/Editor:||Norma Jean Sands|
|Processed Report Number:||NWFSC Processed Report 2015-01|
This report documents the data used for the National Marine Fisheries Service’s 2010 5-year status review of the Puget Sound Chinook Salmon Evolutionarily Significant Unit (ESU) populations (Ford 2011, NMFS 2011). It also documents the methods used to estimate values for missing years of data in order to develop the complete time series needed for cohort run reconstruction. The length of the time series for each population was determined by the availability of spawning abundance estimates. Data were supplied by state and tribal comanagers, either in reports or directly as the result of the public request for data as part of the 5-year status review of the Puget Sound Chinook Salmon ESU (NMFS 2010).
