Genomics of microbes and their effects on animals

Genomics analysis is a powerful approach for understanding the biology and evolution of marine microbes. Genomics can also uncover the responses of animals exposed to microbial toxins. The Marine Microbes and Toxins Program uses both nucleic acid miroarrays and high throughput sequencing as research tools.
