Economic Data Collection Reports

All participants of the West Coast Groundfish Trawl Fishery must complete an annual Economic Data Collection (EDC) form as required by regulation 50 CFR 660.114. The information received from fishery participants is aggregated and analyzed annually and reported to the Pacific Fishery Management Council. Current and past EDC Reports are found below.

You can learn more about data collection and data reports in the Administration and Operations Report.

Fisheries Economics Explorer (FISHEyE)

FISHEyE is an interactive tool for exploring, analyzing, and downloading data collected by the EDC Program about the West Coast Groundfish Trawl Catch Share Program. FISHEyE currently allows for the comparison of revenue, costs, and net revenue of catcher vessels. Data for the other sectors that participate in the catch share program, including catcher-processors, motherships, and first receivers and shorebased processors, will be added soon. Additional metrics to assess the outcomes of the catch share program are also under development.
